Abstract: Different conducting polymers – multiwall carbon nanotube composites have been prepared by in-situ chemical polymerization technique. Direct current electrical transport properties of different composites have been investigated in the temperature range 77 ≤ T ≤ 300K in presence and also in absence of magnetic field up to 1 T. The dc conductivity of the composites follows Mott’s variable range hopping theory. The magnetoconductivity of the samples shows a transition from positive to negative value with increasing temperature which can be explained by the dominance of wave function shrinkage effect over quantum interference effect.
