dc.description.abstractThe primary basis of sustainable competitiveness for an organization is its ability to continuously innovate, generate, diffuse and integrate new knowledge, to transform into a learning organization. Rapid growth in information technology, intense competition, economic uncertainty and changing consumer trends have brought about for contemporary business world where the major source of competitiveness lies in a company’s ability to transform into a learning organization. The employees of an organization need to be open to innovation and learning, to increase service quality, and also bring the implication of being a learning organization to forefront. The present study focuses on measuring the impact of learning organization in building employees’ leadership capabilities and enhancing performance. The results reveal that the factors dialogue & inquiry, collaboration, empowerment, system connection, and strategic leadership have a significant impact on building employees’ leadership capabilities. Further, it also enhances employees’ performance. The study helps the employees’ to enhance their leadership skills in guiding and inspiring their team towards achieving determined outcomesen_US
