dc.description.abstractThis paper concerns with the problem of obtaining non-zero distinct integer solutions to the ternary quadratic Diophantine equation representing a cone given by z^2=15x^2-6y^2. Different sets of solutions are presented. A few interesting relations between the solutions and special polygonal numbers are obtained. Given a solution, a formula for generating sequence of solutions is illustrated.en_US
