dc.description.abstract	Seedlings of sixty weed taxa of Magnoliopsida belonging to twenty four families have been investigated from different road-sides in Balurghat Town, Dakshindinajpur. Qualitative traits of the seedlings have been emphasized for the construction of artificial key for their proper identification in the field. Interdependence of qualitative traits used in the key has been evaluated through Principal Component Analysis (PCA) following Varimax method. Conservation of some of these species through seedlings has been emphasized considering their multifarious importance.	en_US
