Title: Statistical Analysis of the Mixed Accelerated Life Test for the Type II Progressively Censored Sample
Authors: Qin, Xiao-qiong; Shi, Yi-min; Gao, Ni; Hu, Jun-mei
Abstract: This paper studied statistical analysis of a new kind of accelerated life testing which
combined progressively and constantly life test. The point estimations of the
parameters in Exponential distribution and acceleration equation are obtained based
on type II progressively censored data. Furthermore, we give the interval estimations
of the parameters by Bootstrap sample. Besides, the estimations of the failure rate,
the reliability functions and mean life are given at normal stress level, as well as the
approximated unbiased estimations of failure rate and mean life. In the end, an
illustrative numerical example is examined by means of the Monte-Carlo simulation

Title: Supramolecular Hydrogels
Authors: Maity, Gopal Chandra
Abstract: In recent years there has been a considerable interest in developing new types of low
molecular mass hydrogels because of their potential technological applications.
Several classes of low molecular weight compounds form stable and efficient gels
with aqueous solvents at low concentrations. Gels can be studies by several
techniques.

Title: Design of a Phase Detector with Improved Performance
Authors: Chakraborty, B; Pal, R.R
Abstract: This paper presents a new type of bipolar analog Phase Detector (PD) using a high
speed low voltage Emitter Coupled Logic (ECL) inverters, where positive feedback
has been introduced to increase the operating range. Introduction of positive
feedback has also reduced the supply voltage requirement. The same technique has
been introduced in a NMOS Gilbert phase detector and similar results were
obtained. The minimum supply voltage required for both these circuits were 2.1
volts.

Title: Surface Plasmon Excitation in 2p3/2 X-ray Photoemission Satellites of Nickel Dihalides
Authors: Srivastava, Sanjay Kumar; Bahadur, Amar
Abstract: The origin of 2p3/2 satellites of Nickel dihalides have been explained using plasmon
theory with new approach by considering relative contribution of extrinsic and
intrinsic effects. The present calculated values for the energy separation and relative
intensity agree well with the experimentally observed values. Our calculation shows
that satellites are due to surface plasmon excitation. We have also reviewed the
existing calculations and experimental measurements
